Justine & Mark's Beautiful Summer Wedding at Mythe Barn, Leicestershire

There's something really special about a summer wedding at Mythe Barn. Set amongst the beautiful Leicestershire countryside, it's one of those venues that has everything - stunning outdoor spaces, wonderful natural light and a relaxed atmosphere that allows couples to truly enjoy every moment of their day.

On 3rd August 2026, we had the pleasure of photographing Justine and Mark's wedding, and from the moment we arrived, we knew it was going to be a fantastic day!

Justine and Mark met online just before covid locked down the world. Fast forward a few years, and they were surrounded by their closest family and friends, celebrating the start of married life together in one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Leicestershire.

From the very beginning, they were warm, friendly and completely down to earth. Their guests were exactly the same, creating such a welcoming atmosphere that by the end of the day, we genuinely felt less like suppliers and more like part of the celebration!

An Outdoor Ceremony in the Leicestershire Sunshine

Leading up to the wedding, the weather forecast had been threatening rain (despite not one drop of rain having fallen in many, many weeks!) Justine and Mark had been keeping a close eye on the forecast and hoping for the best. Thankfully, the rain never arrived, and instead they were treated to glorious blue skies and warm sunshine for the entire day.

Why We Loved Mythe Barn

It's very easy to see why this venue is so popular! One of our favourite things about Mythe Barn is how bright and airy it is. Every room is filled with beautiful natural light, making it perfect for creating those soft, dreamy photos that couples love. Step outside and you're surrounded by rolling countryside, giving endless opportunities for relaxed portraits without ever feeling rushed.

Beautiful Details

Justine looked incredible in her elegant beaded halter neck wedding dress, paired perfectly with a stunning dried flower bouquet. The dried florals continued throughout the venue, tying everything together beautifully and adding a timeless, natural feel to the day.

Every detail had clearly been chosen with care, and they photographed beautifully.

A Moment We'll Never Forget

Every wedding has one moment that stays with us long after we've packed our cameras away.

For us, it happened during the evening celebrations. We'd found a great viewpoint on the balcony to capture everyone enjoying the dance floor when Justine suddenly looked up, spotted us and broke into the biggest smile. She proudly held up her beloved childhood penguin soft toy, complete with tiny wedding dress, while she was dancing, making sure we caught the moment.

Those are exactly the moments we love to capture - the genuine, unscripted memories that become some of the most treasured photographs.
